Ah yes, Vacation begins. I really need to get in the habit of taking extra vacation days on vacation because the travel just kills us.
This is Steph and I in our room at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The hotel is really nice, what we’ve seen of it, which really isn’t much because we pretty much went to bed once we got in. The airline lost Steph’s luggage, so we have to wait for that tomorrow morning as well. *sigh*
Still, the room is nice, even if I have to pay for my own internet. I know it sounds stupid, but I would so much rather pay for a room that was $14/day more with free internet than pay $14 for internet. It just feels wrong.
that is so wrong.
try to enjoy your vacation..and next time…just take carry ons!
Glad to read you got there in one piece.
Probably an add on only in Vegas! I mean, most folks don’t care about internet when going on vacation there… I’m just saying, ya know?
Anyway, have fun! Wish I were there 😉
Man, that just sounds wrong. You would think a world-class hotel would have complementary internet.

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
Have fun and leave them broke!
I think it’s funny how you can stay in a random Motel 6 anywhere across the country and get free internet, but you stay in a nice hotel (pretty much all of them I think!) in a place like Vegas and the nickle & dime you. It’s BS. I totally agree with the just-fool-me-by-adding-it-to-the-room-rate theory.
Jake says the expensive hotels are much more likely to charge for internet, and my (much more limited) hotel experience seems to bear that out. Holiday Inn Express? Free. Westin Snooty-Snoot? $14.
