Day 972 of 365 Again.

Spent the evening trying to catch up on photos. Usually I only ever post like four or five photos at a time, and try to stretch things out, but I’m so far behind at the moment that I really need to just get through things. So as a special treat "for the ladies" I put up my entire Jonny set. Don’t say I never do anything for you. Fair warning to the fellas, NSFW manflesh behind the link… you don’t want to see it anyway, you’ve been warned. You’ll be much happier looking at this picture of Newt in a gold bikini from this weekend. You’re welcome.

It includes the new Tower card, that replaces the old one of Jameel. Jonny was better for it and nailed the idea I had in mind, and Jameel worked much better on the Lovers card with Stu anyway. That makes 58 cards done. Only 20 to go, plus some reshoots. I may even be able to finish this year. I really need to start talking to publishers about it.

And none too soon. I actually had an idea for another series of shoots tonight. One that I’d want to feature in a gallery show somewhere if I ever get another gallery show. I want to explore sex and violence. I think it’d be really interesting. I mean, lets face it, all of my best work is about sex anyway, and I think it’d be really cool to kind of push the dichotomy is a really fetishy kinda way. I’m thinking lots of people making out and passionately ripping each other’s clothes away, with knives and guns and stuff. Working it out in my head, but I think it’d be really cool, though granted kind of dark. The thing with it is, I was hoping to move to something that could utilize cool locations after I finish the tarot. But for what I have in mind, I really think it’s something else that’d be best served by my trademark chiaroscuro backgrounds. I’ll have to play with it.
