So this is absolutely perfect. I got a bluetooth barcode scanner. It’s something I’ve wanted for quite a while, really. Why would I ever need such a thing? Well, I have this program that keeps track of all my books, movies, and music. I can look things up and enter them through barcode scanning. Previously I had done this with my webcam, which is both crappy working and limited by where my computer is. This I can just carry around in my hand, point and click.
Plus now I can finally tell what that barcode on my head says. I’ve been wondering for years.
(Now who’s geeky enough to actually try to figure it out too)
Maybe it’s because I can’t see it clearly enough, but I don’t recognize the barcode format. I’m thinking it’s Code 128 (or maybe 2 5 interleaved) but it doesn’t have the right start/stop code. Is it real?
denovich: you know, I’m ot even sure. I just used a random generator off the net and I don’t remember what it was set to it. It’s probably 128, I’d imagine. But yeah, it’s real.
Very cool image. I want bluetooth scanner.
I make temporary barcode tattoos for fun.
