I meant to announce Zivity this set on Tuesday, but I was really busy. You’re about to see why.
So
anyone who knows me knows that i like to keep busy. I like to try to do
EVERYTHING. I have like 18 billion jobs. I’ve been a sysadmin, a
webdesigner, a graphic designer, a photographer, a painter, a
videographer, a programmer, a professional wrestler and a comic book
writer and artist. I was even a janitor for a while.
Well, I’m also a “judge.” Sortof.
For
those who don’t know, in the United States. When you go to vote,
there’s a bunch of staff there who’s job it is to run the machines and
count the votes at the end. The guy in charge of all of those people (at
least in my state) is called the “judge of elections.” That guy is me.
So
I was really busy today, as you might imagine and I didn’t get a chance
to announce my newest set with Megan. So let’s do that now.
You
see, Tuesday was also Dia de los Muertos, or “The Day of the Dead.” Megan wanted to do a photoset based on the paintings of Sylvia Ji, who’s
basically the definitive artist for the holiday. We wanted to match the
style of the paintings as closely as possible while still remaining true
to both my style as a photographer and hers as a model. We’re both very
proud of it.
Hopefully you think we nailed it as well as we think we did.
Check it out here: http://www.zivity.com/photographers/chrismaverick/photosets/60 and let me know what you think. (Very NSFW)
For five votes or more, Megan will send you a password to a special bonus set we shot that won’t be appearing anywhere else.
