Hmmm… you know, I’m not sure they’re all improvements. Hulk certainly is, but I’m ok with the 77 spiderman. It fits the character and what I think of with him. Same with the 78 Superman. The more modern ones seem too much for the characters.
Batman I think of as having the most up to date body armor of the day, so it makes sense to continuously update it.
