I think I’ve decided that women are more sexist than men when it comes to breast implants. Here’s why:
Stephanie and I were eating dinner and she had the Game Show Network on TV. It was the new version of Minute to Win It. They introduced the contestants, a pair of sisters and Steph commented that they “obviously had fake boobs.” Now it’s not like she followed it up with “and therefore they should be shot!” or “and they’re going to hell!” But I commented that I think it’s funny that only women ever remark on whether another woman’s boobs are fake or not.
I asked her why she cared, and she said “well, how would you feel if the media was full of guys with penis implants and they got all the women?”
I told her that was silly reasoning. Here’s why. Most women in the world DON’T have breast implants. And yet, most of them do somehow manage to find boyfriends/husbands. So they don’t get ALL the men.
If it were jealousy, I’d get it. I mean, ask yourself, do you want a boyfriend who ONLY is after you because of the size of your tits? I’d argue that most women (with or without implants) would say no. I bet most guys also don’t want a girl who only wants them for the size of their cock either. And if you do, then that’s fine too. It’s like gay marriage. Why do I give a fuck why someone else wants to hook up? It literally has no effect on my life whatsoever except for that which I allow it to.
So the question is (for men and women): Do you care if a woman has a boob job? Why or why not?
