What did I do on my birthday? Drew comics. Lame, huh? This is the Red Tornado (John Smith) as requested by John Muir.

This was a fun one to figure out for a couple reasons. For one, his anatomy. In the comics, they basically draw him as completely humanoid. On the Young Justice cartoon they did something I liked better, though. They figured that as an android he didn’t need a nose or ears or more than the most basic of human musculature. So I mixed both ideas together.

Secondly, it was really fun trying to figure out how to ink a tornado effect. That’s the part I really loved.
