Ok. I don’t get it. As far as I can tell lots of people are mad at the duck dynasty guy for being a homophobe. I’ve seen people calling for boycotts and petitions to pull the show from the air.

Ok. I’ve never actually seen the show, but isn’t it about a bunch of uber stereotypical backwater hillbillies? Why is anyone surprised by his attitude at all?

If be MORE surprised if it turned out that he was a clever and thoughtful man with tolerant view points on other races, cultures, beliefs, religions and sexualities.

One look at that guy and the rest of the cast of the show and I knew he had either one of two possible attitudes towards homosexuality. Either he was a raging homophobe, or he likes to capture fat city boys and anally rape them while his friends stand around playing dueling banjos. There really was no other option.
