Now see I love that REAL customer service people are so much more reasonable than the fake scammers I usually deal with. I just got a call from Verizon:
Verizon Salesman: Hi, this is John with Verizon FiOS. Is Christopher Maverick available?
Mav: What’s this regarding?
VS: Sir, we’re calling to offer you a free upgrade to your FIOS service that you’re now eligible for. We call it FiOS Quantum and …
Mav: But it’s not really an upgrade. I’d have faster downstream speed but slower upstream unless I wanted to pay a lot more for faster of both, right?
VS: Ummm… yeah, I guess that’s correct…
[Silence]VS: So… umm thank you for your time sir… [Click]
