On the way home from the car dealer yesterday, Jameel and I both took cameraphone shots of each other out the windows. Here’s Jameel flashing the peace sign as I drove by him.
What I really love is the distortion on the truck in the background. I think its a combination of the warping of my window, a longish exposure for a cameraphone shot and the effective speed of 130+ mph (combined his speed and mine) as we passed each other on the highway.

So Steph and I jumped in the car today and drove to Tennessee for my family reunion. We didn’t get in til after 3am. I am exhausted.
Since we were pretty much driving all day, I didn’t have a lot of time to really stop and take pictures. This one was taken on my iPhone when Steph and I stopped to get dinner at a McDonalds, somewhere in Southern West Virginia I think.
And then six more hours of driving cramped up in her little Honda Civic. I really need to get that Hybrid Escape.

I’ve been really burnt out lately. Long day at work and had a lot of work to do on Thursday’s comic when I got home. On top of that, I have to get into work early tomorrow, which means I need to force myself to go to sleep soon, and it’s not even 12:30 and I’m totally not used to that.
Sigh… I’m burnt out. I really need a vacation. And a party. And a pony. Any two of the three would probably do.
